Financial Aid, Costs & Scholarships

Invest in a Bold Future

At Augustana University, we don't want money to get in the way of achieving your dream of a college education. That's why 100% of our students receive scholarships and/or grants to achieve those dreams.

Thanks to generous alumni and friends of Augustana, students benefit from several scholarships each year — removing obstacles and rewarding merit. Some are awarded by the university, while others come from outside our institution.

The majority of scholarships begin by applying for and being admitted to Augustana. They are also renewable, provided students maintain full-time status and good academic standing.

This summer, three Augustana students interned at national parks — caring for the nation’s natural and cultural resources while gaining hands-on conservation experience. Kaitlyn Crawford ‘26, Ian Kelly ‘26 and Emma Ostwinkle ‘25 spent their summers across the country applying what they’ve learned in AU classrooms to real-world experiences with the National Park Service.

Augustana is excited to once again host its annual Arthur Olsen Student Research Symposium, set to take place on Saturday, April 13, at the Froiland Science Complex, located on the university’s campus.

Augustana understands the value and impact that historically marginalized people have on communities all over the world — recognizing that this university would not be the place it is without these students, faculty and staff. In the "At AU" series, the university aims to showcase these exceptional people so we can all hear their voices in an effort to foster positivity and create awareness of their experiences on campus. For Black History Month, Augustana is featuring Awar Okello ‘27.
